Sompo International has announced the appointment of Vicky Sarjeant as head of energy insurance in Asia Pacific.
In this new role, she will be based in Singapore and report to president of commercial lines, insurance, Asia Pacific Paul O’Neill.
Sarjeant comes to the role with more than 15 years of experience in the sector. According to her LinkedIn, she previously worked as an energy underwriter covering APAC and MENA for Canopius Asia. She also held prior roles at Marsh Singapore and Miller Insurance in the UK.
“With 17 years of knowledge and experience in both the London and Singapore markets, Vicky will be a valuable addition to our growing team in the APAC region. I look forward to working with her as we continue establishing our practice and growing our book of business,” O’Neill said.
Recently, Sompo also announced the appointment of Alasdair Walker as regional head of distribution insurance for Asia Pacific.
