HSBC Life is offering free cancer protection policies to residents in Singapore as part of the insurer’s cancer support care campaign.

The campaign offers successful applicants a SG$10,000 payout in the event of hospitalization due to cancer, in addition to covering the cost of a specialist visit for a second opinion on cancer diagnosis. The coverage is available until Dec. 31.

Interested applicants aged between 21 and 55 on their next birthday can apply through the promotional site. They need to be Singapore residents (Singaporean, Permanent Resident, Employee Pass, and S Pass holders) and do not need to be existing HSBC Life customers or make any additional purchases.

The applications will be open until Sept. 30, or to the first 10,000 successful applications, whichever comes first.

Elsewhere in the region, HSBC Life also announced the opening of the HSBC Life Insurance Planning Centre at the heart of Macau’s central business district.
